Adrenaline pumping course draws crowds

About 350 people, ranging from youngsters in primary school to athletes in their prime, competed in the second Alverstone Altitude Rush at the weekend.

MORE than 300 athletes braved Saturday’s deluge to compete in Roseway Waldorf School’s second Alverstone Altitude Rush obstacle course race. It is one of the only obstacle races to include family teams and the support from the local Upper Highway community such as Halfway Ford, TyreMarte, Yamaha SA, Jennings Food, PheZulu, Bed Rock and more, ensured it was a resounding success.
