NATURE enthusiasts and garden-lovers walked through and explored the beauty of six varied gardens, including a large estate and two small complex gardens, during the Indigenous Open Gardens over the weekend.
The event was hosted by the Kloof Conservancy as a fundraiser and to raise awareness about the floral diversity and the merits of indigenous water-wise gardening. There were also fun activities along the route, such as information hunts for children, raffles and plant experts at the gardens to provide advice on indigenous gardening.
