Fun galore at children’s party

A LOCAL community outreach organisation hosted a wondrous Christmas party for 74 orphans and vulnerable children a the weekend.

All of the children at the party hail from KwaDabeka and their schooling is covered by KwaCare, a ministry of His Church in Pinetown.

The morning started with a talent show and then the children, from Grade 1 to matric, moved on to the serious fun – quad bike rides, the slip and slide, face painting and the popular chair swing ride. Afterwards they were given a scrumptious lunch and each of them received a Christmas gift. The day ended with a slice of cake and ice cream
