Why we love pink dresses
Choose a pretty in pink dress in a glamorous style and it will be impossible not to get noticed in all the right ways! Just look at how Gwyneth Paltrow stole the show at the 2015 Golden Globes with her blonde bombshell look in a striking hot pink dress by designer Michael Kors.
Was it the plunging sheer illusion-panelled décolletage that got everyone’s attention – or the gorgeously feminine appeal that only a pink dress can evoke? According to Bride&co South Africa, it’s probably a bit of both.
Bride&co says the colour pink is a hot favourite for bridesmaids as well as those looking to impress at a special occasion. Wearing a pink dress can make a powerful and fashionable statement just like a red dress can, but with an energy that’s gentler and inspires confidence. It’s not surprising then that Carrie from Sex and the City frequently wore pink dresses.
