THE German Fest is at Hillcrest Lutheran Church, 1 Church Road Hillcrest, on Saturday, 26 May May, where traditional German food is served from 10am – 4pm in the church gardens and hall.
There will be succulent Eisbein, Gammon or crispy and tender Chicken Schnitzel for lunch to pair with a variety of delicious salads made by the women of the congregation.
You will be able to buy those delectable German meat specialities such as Mettwurst, Kassler, smoked Bratwurst, smoked Käsegriller, Frankfurters, Thüringer Bratwurst, Schinken and more.
There will also be a variety of plants on sale.
A brass band will strike up some jolly music to entertain fest-goers.
