Hosted at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Westville Sports Centre, the tournament saw students from The IIE’s Varsity College in Westville, Durban North and Pietermaritzburg campuses compete in eSport, indoor hockey, basketball, netball and action soccer.
The IIE’s Varsity College Westville placed first in eSport and action soccer. The number of individual games the campus won exceeded that of the other campuses, and this is what qualified their overall win.

VC Sports Club chairperson Werner Coetzee said their hard work paid off, and defending the title as the champions made them proud.
“We also worked very closely with the three campuses’ sport co-ordinators and ended up hosting a successful Intercampus Sports Day. The support from our student body and all the cheering is something that I will never forget. Students also enjoyed entertainment by The IIE’s Varsity College Westville and Durban North cheerleaders.
