Annual challenge raises much-needed funds for the animals

The Dog Box Challenge is held in an effort to help raise funds for the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

IN its 10th year, brave participants were ‘locked up’ in the kennels at the SPCA for the annual Kloof and Highway SPCA Dog Box Challenge from noon on Friday, May 24, until noon on Saturday, May 25.

The annual event is held in an effort to help raise funds for the SPCA. The funds raised are used in the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s ongoing fight for the prevention of cruelty to all animals.

On the evening of May 24, members of the public came to show their support for the inmates and to take part in the festivities, which included music and dancing.
