Moms and daughters bond at high tea

The guests stepped out in style at Pinetown Girls prestigious event, Mother and Me High Tea.

PINETOWN Girls’ High School Grade 10 and 11 learners were invited to a Mother and Me High Tea, a prestigious event where they attended with their mothers or mother figures.

The theme for the beautiful morning was ‘Bridgerton’, and the guests stepped out in style as they followed the theme by dressing up in something elegant.

“Over and above this, the event was designed to provide an opportunity for our girls to spend time with their mothers,” said Pinetown Girls’ Amanda Ngcobo.

More than 80 attendees were present with performances from Layle Cathey and Heather Dix with the school choir.
Poetry was also recited by Grade 11 and 12 learners.

“Everyone enjoyed fun games, and there were prizes, which included a high tea voucher at The Oyster Box Hotel, uMhlanga, and vouchers from Spur Grand Canyon.

“Winners of the High Tea at Oyster Box will be transported by Chery, Pinetown, to the High Tea – they will be transported back by the Alpine VW Group.”

Ngcobo thanked all the attendees and sponsors for making this event a success.
