Fans to flock to Kingsmead for SA20 opener

The Durban faithful showed love for Durban’s Super Giants in their opening game.

MORE than 12 000 spectators were in attendance for Durban’s Super Giants opening game of the Betway SA20 at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on Thursday.

The Durban faithful piled into the stadium which saw the home team win via the DLS system against MI Cape Town.

Thursday night’s match also saw Kingsmead debuts for Umshoshapansi EzikaPhushamoya as well as the Northwood Boys High School band.

The Northwood Boys High School band, also known as the DSG Vibe Tribe, made themselves at home on the North East Grass Bank and their renditions of popular songs got the crowd going and in the mood for an exciting evening.

Andiswa Nxele welcomed the crowds on stilts. He also made balloon animals for the younger crowd.
