Raising funds for Christmas
One Way Church prepares for their Christmas and January outreach programme.
RAISING funds for their January School-Shoe drive, One Way Church in Westville will be hosting a seminar for singles. Explaining the course, Pastor Kwanele Ngcobo said the church is invested in reaching out to the community as they run projects that work towards that throughout the year.
The conference will be hosting South African TV personality Rorisang Thandekiso and actors Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu. The Redeemed Singles Conference will be teaching young people to navigate their lives as single people and be wise when choosing a lifetime partner.

“The aim of this conference works in both ways – raising funds for the school-shoe drive and to holistically take care of the community and our church members. The content of the conference aims to help young people be secure in who they are and not find themselves in desperation and ending up making life-crippling decisions,” he said.
Ngcobo further explained that the conference will also help towards their Christmas Bucket of Hope.
“The Christmas Bucket of Hope is one of our holidays where we donate food packages to families for them to enjoy on Christmas. This is aimed at families who cannot afford a nice Christmas meal. Every year, we spot a certain area and donate to the families there,” he said.
The Redeemed Singles Conference will be taking place on December 8 at 18:00 and December 9 at 10:00 and 13:00. For more information, Kwanele Ngcobo can be contacted on 067 215 7500.
