Westville Senior Primary Marimba Band competes nationally

The Westville Senoir Primary School Marimba Band shares their talent with the Westville community in a music event.

IN CELEBRATION of their milestone, the Westville Senior Primary School choir will be hosting an evening of music featuring the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, Marimba Bands from both Westville Senior Primary and Westville Girls’ High and more.

Westville Senior Primary ‘A’ Marimba Band is one of the first school bands to make it through the South African School Band Association. Following this win, the team will be headed to compete at the Nationals in Pretoria from October 5 to 7. 

To help raise funds for the trip to Pretoria, the evening music festival is set to take place on Friday, September 29 at Westville Girls’ High School from 17:45. 

Come and mingle with friends and family, while enjoying music, and watch our musicians do what they do best.
