Suspect shot dead in an alleged Westville home invasion

Paramedics found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.

A MAN believed to have been a suspect in an alleged Westville home invasion was shot dead last night, Thursday, August 3.

According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, he said they responded to a shooting incident in an alleged home invasion in Killikrankie Road, Westville North.

“On arrival, paramedics found multiple police officers and security officers on scene with the area cordoned off. Paramedics were shown to a male believed to have been a suspect who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

“He was in a critical condition, and despite Advanced Life Support intervention, the man went into cardiac arrest and died on the scene,” said Jamieson.
