Armed robbers target Pavilion jewellery store
Westville SAPS attended to a robbery at a jewellery store at the Pavilion.
A CASE of Business Robbery has been opened and is being investigated by Westville Detectives following a robbery at a jewellery store at the Pavilion yesterday afternoon.

Westville SAPS communications officer Captain Elizabeth Squires said, “Just before 6 pm, a group of males entered the shop and held up the staff. A large amount of jewellery was taken, but there were no injuries, and no arrests have been made at this stage,” she said.
Further confirming the incident, the Pavilion Shopping Centre GM, Vicky Deppe, said the centre’s security responded immediately to the scene and notified the police. Deppe said the centre has been secured, and the incident is now the subject of a police investigation.
