Porsche announces 2023 Cayenne pricing and specs

Porsche’s latest generation Cayenne ushers the nameplate into a new era. Alongside larger power plants come larger price tags for 2023.

Porsche offers the latest-generation Cayenne in four distinct flavours namely: The entry-level Cayenne, Cayenne S, the Cayenne E-Hybrid and the range-topping Cayenne Turbo GT. Each model derivative is offered in the regular configuration and a coupe configuration with the exception being the Turbo GT model.

  • Porsche Cayenne: R1 848 000
  • Porsche Cayenne coupe: R1 933 000
  • Porsche Cayenne S: R2 125 000
  • Porsche Cayenne S coupe: R2 232 000
  • Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid: R2 194 000
  • Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid coupe: R2 259 000
  • Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT: R4 128 000

The entry-level Cayenne model is powered by a three-litre turbocharged V6 that affords the Cayenne curtain raiser a power output of 260kW and 500N.m, which is a 10kW and 50N.m increase compared to the previous generation counterpart. The Cayenne S is now powered by the tried and tested four-litre biturbo V8 affording the sultry SUV a power output of 349kW and 600N.m accompanied by a 0 to 100km/h sprint time of 4.7 seconds.

Expanding the Cayenne range is the new Cayenne E-Hybrid. Powered by the same power plant found in the entry-level model, the E-Hybrid model is assisted by a new electric motor capable of producing 130kW, the overall power output of the electrified SUV is rated at 346kW. Additionally, the E-Hybrid model is capable of an all-electric driving range of 66 to 74km and features an 11kW/h onboard charger that aids in shorter charging times.

The range-defining Turbo GT model returns in its most powerful incarnation yet. Powered by a thunderous twin-turbo four-litre V8, the Turbo GT is afforded a total power output of 485kW and is capable of a standstill sprint to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds positioning it as one of the most powerful and fastest SUVs available on the global market rivalling the likes of Aston Martins DBX 707 and Lamborghini Urus Performante.

Expect the first customer deliveries locally to begin in the second half of 2023.
