Help resident cook warm meals for flood-stricken communities
If there's one thing we know about the people of KZN, it's that they're tough and in times of conflict, our communities always come together to support those in need.

THE Upper Highway Community can be of great assistance to the communities who have been affected by the devastation of the KwaZulu-Natal floods.
Hillcrest resident Karyn Smith is appealing to the community to assist her by donating ingredients or food items which she can use to cook and distribute to anyone in need.

Smith has been preparing hot meals and feeding individuals who are assisting others, as well as attempting to deliver food to towns that have been stranded due to storm damage. She has been providing people with hot meals from all over KZN since April 11.
“I will continue distributing hot meals for as long as I have donations and foods to do so. I have spent a considerable amount of my own money. I encourage people to make donations as every donation small or big goes a long way,” said a humble Smith.
