A resident who is currently fostering him Esther Talbot said the person who found him in Pretoria about two weeks ago tried to locate his owners but unfortunately had to return to Durban and decided to drive down with him and kept him at their house for his safety.

It was only after he was found roaming again in Westville that he was checked for a microchip, that is when his owners were contacted,

“Pablo was reported missing by his owner, we have gotten in touch with his owners and they could not believe that their beloved dog was on a holiday in Durban,” joked Talbot.

The Westville resident said she will be travelling to Johannesburg next month and will return him to his owners.

“He is such a gorgeous, well behaved dog and gets along with my other dogs, I had a Jack Russel who passed away recently, he looks just like him but it is only right that we return him to his rightful owners,” said Talbot.
