The event will feature three past directors of TVT and its current executive director, S’bongiseni Vilakazi. They will speak about striving for personal success as well as the importance of community relations for business.

“This is an important subject at this time, especially in light of the disturbances experienced in our city in July,” said the NGO’s Pippa Whittle.

TVT is in need of food sponsorship for the morning (bottled water, muffins, jams, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cold meat, fruit juice) and/or raffle draw prizes for the event.

“The prizes can include products, vouchers, mystery envelopes, auction items or a cash donation. TVT will issue a Section 18A certificate upon request for any donations received,” said Whittle.

Tickets are R100 per person and this includes a light breakfast, tea and coffee. There are exciting raffle prizes to be won. A table for 10 will be discounted to R900.

“All funds raised will go towards our Khula Kahle Mntwana (Grow Well, Child) Project. It helps ensure that more than 1 000 young children in the Valley of 1 000 Hills grow up healthy,” Whittle added.

The Valley Trust is situated on the popular 1 000 Hills tourism route on Zulu Reserve Road (Manqoba Drive) in Botha’s Hill.
