Monkey ‘tails’ take over the silver screen

The team behind the documentary are hoping to create much-needed awareness about the Vervet monkey.

AFTER a year-and-a-half of filming the furry creatures, the screening dates for the documentary, Tails of Hope, have been finalised and are on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29.

“The aim of this documentary is to raise awareness for the Vervet monkey species by unpacking their plight within the context of Durban and South Africa, and highlighting the ways in which humans can co-exist with them in a positive way,” said Kyle Judd Smith of Filmshark, the company behind the filming of the documentary.
