“To say I am thrilled at the amount raised is an understatement. The money will go a long way towards phase two of our build, to equip the kitchen where we help feed 150 children every week,” said HiH founder, Tracy Klokie.

Guest speaker for the day was motivational speaker, Mthoko Shange who left the guests inspired to ‘help be the change’.

“I am so incredibly grateful to our event team and organisers, friends, family, clients and everyone who supported the fundraiser as well as those who offered their support by donating amazing prizes and items to spoil our guests and raise funds,” said a grateful Klokie.

Abby Ndlovu, from Asivuke Centre, said they appreciate what Klokie and the team have been doing for them. “The centre has drastically changed, they have literally taken us from zero to hero in just a few months,” she said.

“We would like to thank all the donors. Their money helps feed 150 children each week. They also received new uniforms, stationery, the difference is visible,” added Ndlovu.
