HILLCREST Christian Academy recently opened its doors to formally welcome in the newest batch of Grade 1 learners.
The school’s executive head, Paul Guthrie, said, “All measures for Covid-19 have been put in place for the start of the school year.

“In approaching the current scenario, we find ourselves a staggered approach is taking place where certain grades come back each day to school and, at the same time, online learning takes place on days when learners are at home.
“There is a very positive mood at the school and learners and staff are excited to be back. We had a number of very enthusiastic Grade 1s who started their formal schooling career!”
