Help Pinetown police locate missing man
Ivan Derrick Basimer (30) left his girlfriend's home in Wyebank on 6 October and said he was going to Umthatha.

PINETOWN police are requesting for assistance in their search for 30-year-old Ivan Derrick Basimer who was last seen on 6 October 2020.
eThekwini District communications commander, Capt Carmen Rhynes said Basimer, who resides in Margaret Mncadi in Durban, left his girlfriend’s place in Wyebank and said he was going to Umthatha.

“The girlfriend reported that a day after he left she received a phone call from him saying he was in Port Shepstone and the next day she received two calls from different people saying he was in Bizana in the Eastern Cape. She never heard from him again,” said Rhynes.
He was wearing black pants, a yellow t-shirt, a khaki jacket with a yellow hood and black suede shoes.
“He is average in height with black frizzy hair. He has a black moustache and beard.”
