Pinelands church spreads Christmas cheer to 100 children

The Pinelands Community Church has been hosting the festive parties for the last 12 years.

PINELANDS Community Church hosted a Christmas party for 60 children from Mariannridge as well 40 houses at Street Wise KZN Child and Youth Center this month.

The parties have been hosted for the past 12 years by the church in different communities.

There were a whole lot of fun activities and informative talks planned for the day.

Due to Covid 19, the necessary precautions were implemented and the children were catered for in two separate venues.

The main event was held at Street Wise KZN Child and Youth Center and the other at a premise in Mariannridge.

All the children were also provided with face shields.

Each child received a gift, party pack, fruit, popcorn, drinks and a hot meal .

“SAPS and Metro Police once again volunteered their valued services. This year Blue security also contributed their invaluable services. Pinelands Community Church would like to express a big thank you to everyone that sponsored the event, thereby contributing to its successful outcome ,” said Pastor Daryl Moonsamy.
