Quilters showcase creative art pieces

More than 30 members from the newly-formed quilting guild submitted pieces for the lockdown exhibition.

AN Upper Highway home was completely transformed for the eye-catching lockdown exhibition hosted by the Village Grassroots Quilters Guild recently.

Two guilds, Village Quilters and the Grassroots Quilters Guild, combined and, to celebrate, they hosted an exhibit that only consisted of quilts made during South Africa’s lockdown.

The guild is currently 60 members strong and about 35 of the members submitted work to be hung up and showcased.
