Local company dares to care

Each of the two charities received a sum of R88 000 raised through the fundraiser drive held by Lake, Smit and Partners.

FOR its 10th annual donation during breast cancer awareness month, Lake, Smit and Partners donated a total of R176 000 to two local charities.

Each year, a percentage of the cost from all mammograms performed during the month of October is set aside for this specific donation.

The two organisations, Reach for Recovery and The Highway Hospice, were the proud recipients of donations that amounted to R88 000 each.

The handover was held at the Just for Women Digital Mammography Centre.

Lake, Smit and Partners said it was proud to aid in the effort to support breast cancer survivors and terminally ill patients by recognising these two organisations.
