A MASSIVE explosion just at 7.10am today shook most of south Durban.
A Caxton Local Media sister publication to the Highway Mail has a reporter from the Southlands SUN on scene and will be updating their story as more information becomes available.

The Queensburgh News has been inundated with messages from readers in the Seaview and Rossburgh areas seeking news about the plumes of smoke and even flames which were visible this morning.
Rowan Scandroglio, Rescue Care Media spokesman reported that six people had been injured after the large explosion.
“Rescue Care Paramedics together with multiple other emergency medical services and rescue units arrived on the scene to find a large fire after some sort of explosion,” said Scandroglio.
“A triage area was set up by EMRS (KZN Emergency Medical Rescue Services) while fire fighters and rescue personnel entered the refinery to bring out the injured personnel and to fight the blaze,” he said.
“At this stage the events leading up to the incident are unknown, however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further,” said the paramedic.
