ST Mary’s DSG held its annual awards ceremony recently and acknowledged its matric class of 2020 and each of the prize winners.
Due to Covid-19, there was a virtual guest speaker, Tammy Fry Kelly (Class of 1998) who was also the Old Girls’ Guild, International Award recipient for 2020.
“We also congratulated our Old Girls’ Guild, National Award recipient, Lerato Motsamai (class of 1993). As both women were unable to attend the ceremony in person, their respective nieces, currently at St Mary’s in junior primary and senior primary, received the trophies on their behalf,” said the school’s marketing manager, Michelle Di Marco.
The matrics wore masks throughout the ceremony. The Dux for the school for 2020 was awarded to Kyla McLoughlin and Clarise Smith was named as Proxime Accessit to Dux.
