Help support Careways’ fundraising initiative

The public will have a chance to buy quality items at bargain prices.

FROM Monday, 5 October to Saturday, 10 October at the Kloof Careways there will be a sale of second hand items. The purpose of the sale is to raise funds for the organisation that caters for the needs of intellectually impaired adults.

Kloof Careways is a registered non-profit organisation.

Careways manager, Tina Smith said their aim is to raise funds to repair the Siyanakekela Centre, another branch of the organisation situated at the KwaNdengezi Methodist Church.

Smith said the centre was vandalised during the lockdown.

“We are inviting people to support this fundraiser by coming and shopping for quality items at bargain prices.”

The sale will run from 9am to 1pm at the Kloof Methodist Church.

The goal of the organisation is to, amongst other things, is to provide day care centres where those attending are involved in a variety of activities and outings.
