Pinetown couple overwhelmed by blessing

"In spite of all the negativity going around at this time there are still a lot of good people in this world."

MY husband, Doug and I have just had the most humbling experience.

We needed to go and collect my script at Clicks Pharmacy so as Spar is in the same mall (Kloof Village Mall) we used the opportunity to buy some groceries.

We were at the till unpacking our goodies when the man behind me in the queue said , “Can I bless you?”

I thought he was just being polite so I said thank you and continued taking my credit card out of my purse.

He then said he wanted to bless us by paying for our purchases.

Both Doug and I were dumbfounded and refused as we had bought a lot, but he insisted.

We were very reluctant to accept the offer but he told the cashier to carry on and ring up his purchases together with ours and he will pay.

I was quite emotional but in the end we got a big trolley full of groceries free.

God bless you Martin van Staden for your generosity and compassion.

In spite of all the negativity going around at this time there are still a lot of good people in this world for which we should be grateful and stop all this doom and gloom. Martin, may you and your family always be blessed.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness towards my dear parents,” said the Coopers’ daughetr, Trudi.
