How does it feel a Mrs SA semi-finalist?

It is so humbling and exciting to be part of this amazing platform where women come together and empower one another in various ways. For me it is more about growth and stepping out of your comfort zone as a woman and being open to learn more on the journey, to impart the information to other women and young girls for upliftment, as well as discovering the best version of yourself.

How much support do you receive from family and friends?

I’m so grateful for the love and support that I receive from family and friends is amazing, they are making this journey so exciting and easy for me.

What inspired you to enter this pageant?

I was inspired by the empowerment this competition carries for women. There is a lot to discover about yourself in this platform, the capabilities and strengths that were never discovered on other platforms, the confidence of knowing who you are as a woman and being unapologetic of your womanhood and discover untapped potential.

How will it change your life if you go through as a finalist?

It would be a great privilege for me to make it to the finals as this is a life-changing platform, I’m a person who is very curious about life. I want to inspire people in our communities to discover their potential and purpose in life and let them know that nothing is impossible no matter what their background, life experiences and circumstances are; and also to help our young girls in pursuing their dreams. I also want to make a positive contribution to our communities.

How important do you think it is for married women to participate in competitions like this one?

It is so important for other married women to participate in these kinds of competitions as it is so empowering and there is a lot more they will discover about themselves.

Have you always wanted to enter a competition like this?
Yes I have always wanted to enter this kind of a competition.

How much preparation goes into being part of  this pageant?

It takes a woman to believe in herself and be ready for a change that comes with it, and also be positive about life as a whole and believe that nothing is impossible about life as long as you put your mind to it.

What are your interests other than modelling?

I’m a person who has a hunger to change people’s lives and make a difference. I have a drive and a desire to empower and motivate people through public speaking. Nothing is impossible in life. I believe everyone has a story in their lives to share and there is so much more to learn when we come together to share our stories and life experiences. The programme was created for married women who would ordinarily not have such a platform to compete and be ambassadors for South Africa, on a global scale.
