Aunty Sheila is coming to Suncoast

Get ready for a new theatrical comedy drama with Aunty Sheila.

SHEILA Power Production’s new theatrical comedy drama, Aunty Sheila goes to Court relates her life experiences in a humorous manner that will leave the audience rolling off their seats with laughter on 11 April in The Globe at Suncoast.

Aunty Sheila is played by 34-year-old, Theshen Naicker. Theshen has been acting for many years.

He is currently involved in film making and hopes to produce his first movie in the near future.

Joining Aunty Sheila on stage is a star-studded cast including Melanie Kisten (current Mrs Uniworld, actor in Keeping up with the Kandasamys), Shannon Bhoraj (current Miss Uniworld and actor in Broken Promises Forever and the Curse of Highway Sheila), Keval Maharaj, Shakila Mathura and Warrick Frank (ECR presenter, actor on many SABC local soaps).

This show pushes the boundary in the comedy genre exploring topics that are socially relevant while addressing the many injustices in society in a light-hearted, fun spirited manner.

The talented Aunty Sheila promises to take you on a musical journey with some of the most popular Bollywood songs as well as famous Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey love ballads. The show will also be showcasing some beautifully choreographed dance pieces by the Melanie Kisten Dance Academy.
