The Game’s Broadcast

SuperSport and the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) struggled to get the right to broadcast the opener between the Black Stars and Bafana Bafana. Gay Mokoena assured South African soccer fans that the two channels held many meetings to get the broadcasting rights. SuperSport later stated that it won’t air the game. Normally, media channels need to sign a contractual agreement with CAF to broadcast any Africa Cup of Nations game.

Andre Ayew’s Remarks

Andre captained the Black Stars in their AFCON qualifier opener against South Africa. He congratulated his teammates for their brilliant performance. The team has won each game it has played this FIFA international break. Ghana is leading in Group C. The national team has received immense support from fans since it started the Bring Back Love campaign.
