The SAMA Award-nominated duo, accompanied by their full band, is set to perform hits from Clegg’s Juluka, Savuka and solo catalogues.

David ‘Qadasi’ Jenkins and Maqhinga Radebe are an acoustic duo on a quest to revive the powerful sounds of traditional Maskandi music.

Both SAMA and SATMA Award nominees in their own right, the duo have taken their fusion of traditional Zulu and western folk music to audiences in the UK, Europe, Asia and throughout South Africa.

The event will raise funds for Philangethemba, the church’s outreach to the community of Molweni.

Philangethemba, meaning Living through Hope, is a collaborative programme between the social outreach ministry of St Agnes Anglican Church in Kloof and the neighbouring Molweni Valley community, to empower them to address their poverty related challenges.

Its programmes target the young people of the valley and their education.

Tickets are R150 and can be bought online at quicket.co.za or at the door on the night.
