St Mary’s awards its top achievers

The school nominated Jenna Mills as 2019's Dux of School.

ST Mary’s DSG’s annual high school speech awards recognises the achievements of its high school girls and celebrates their diligence and hard work that culminates in their incredible results.

The guest speakers were the International and National Old Girls’ Award winners, Dr Deborah Lees (1990) and Vumile Msweli (2003).

Cerian Fourie (Nicole Stöckl junior sportswoman award), Kiana-Ché Cormack (sportswoman of the year), Jenna Mills (the Thomas More Cup for the best all-round sportswoman).

Both women spoke from the heart and remembered their time at school with fondness. Their poignant words spoke volumes to the girls who were both entertained and inspired by the two remarkable women who have achieved so much.

“Well done to all prize-winners, your work ethic and commitment is commendable and we are proud of you,” said the school’s marketing and communications manager, Michelle Di Marco.
