Connor counts his successes

Forest View Primary School's SPAR Star of the Month - October 2019.

FOREST View Primary School’s SPAR Star of the Month is Grade 6 learner, Connor Schmitt.

He is described as a reliable, well-mannered and capable learner and is popular among his peer group and staff at FVPS. Connor shines in the classroom and his best subject is mathematics. He also shines on the sports field.

Connor has represented the school’s swimming team for all four strokes but butterfly is his preferred stroke. Out of the water, Connor plays for the school’s 1st team rugby, soccer, cricket and hockey. He also played for the the U11 PADSSA Invitational cricket team at the KZN festival last year.

Connor has been a reliable and efficient tuck shop monitor this year, putting his maths skills to good use.

“We want to wish Connor well in his future as he and his family are emigrating shortly. They shall be sorely missed at Forest View Primary School,” said the school’s public relations officer, Jean Montile.
