Help family find missing Shallcross man

Amarasen Pillay was last seen leaving his home in Carmel Drive around midday on Monday.

UPDATE: Tuesday, 3 September 2019; 13.12pm – THE family of Amarasen Pillay has confirmed that he has been found safe and sound.

A family friend, whose name is known to the Highway Mail, said she was unable to comment on the details of the case, as the family has been left emotional by the ordeal.

 

WITH many people going missing, a Shallcross family is shaken by the disappearance of Amarasen Pillay (47).

Pillay was last seen leaving his home in Carmel Drive, Shallcross, yesterday midday (Monday, 2 September).

He was wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans and blue Power takkies. His family can not trace him as he left his wallet and cellphone at home.

The family is appealing to anyone who may have information on Pillay’s whereabouts to contact his sister in law, Lee-Ann on 084 519 8602.
