SPCA supporters walk on the bright side

More than 250 Kloof and Highway supporters signed up for the organisation's annual Mutt Mile fund-raiser.

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA hosted a lumo-themed Mutt Mile this year and dogs and owners were dressed for the occasion, wearing fun and bright colours.

Master of Ceremonies, Rory Petzer and his beloved SPCA-adopted pooch, Pongo, hosted the walk that consisted of lucky draws, an owner and pet look alike competition and the popular Mutt Mile of the year. There were 249 people and 186 four-legged friends signed up who helped raise R15 000 for the local SPCA.

“We would like to thank MSD and Hills for their sponsorship of our walk, all the dedicated teams of volunteers who helped so much as well as everyone that attended. We hope you join us in 2020!” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Brigitte Rossouw.
