#MissingMariannhill: Two bodies found after four security guards reported missing

Postmortems will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

TWO decomposed bodies of men aged 29 and 30 were found in the Ematimatolo area, Greytown and it is believed it is the same men who were reported missing at the Mariannhill police station and Tongaat police station.

According to KZN police spokesperson, Lt Col Thulani Zwane, a security guard, Zolani Herdman Mlambi (29) was last seen by his brother leaving his place of residence in Recreation Road, Desai to go to his place of employment in Tongaat.

“It is further alleged that on 23 December 2018, Zolani and his three colleagues left their workplace en route to Greytown, he was driving his girlfriend’s vehicle. The vehicle was found abandoned in Dalton on 24 December 2018,” he said.

All four men were last seen on that day.

Postmortems will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Ematimatolo police station have opened two counts of murder for further investigation.
