Chic Mamas raise much needed funds for local preschools

The Chic Mamas raised more than R80 000 to support early childhood development projects.

LAST week, Chic Mamas Do Care Durban held its second annual two-day fashion event to raise funds to support early childhood development projects in local communities.

Held at Westville Boys’ High School, the event was a resounding success with pre-loved clothing being sold to women throughout the Highway area.

Day one included a Swap4Charity (fashion exchange) element and day two featured a number of half price rails.

The Chic Mamas team were delighted to raise more than R80 000, which will be put to great use in 2019.

 

Currently, Chic Mamas Do Care Durban support two preschools; Umzamo Preschool, a Creche in Reservoir Hills and House of Hope in Clermont.
