You’re in store for a treat at Kloof and Highway SPCA

Prepare to shop up a store as the Kloof and Highway SPCA's Village Green has undergone a revamp and is open for business!

IF you have not been to the Kloof and Highway SPCA in recent weeks, you are in for an absolute treat. The non-profit organisation’s Village Green shopping hub received a much-needed revamp and is a dream come true for its staff, volunteers and supporters.

“For a few years we have wanted to make changes to the shopping experience at our Kloof and Highway SPCA Village Green and this has now happened. The Kloof and Highway SPCA would like to thank the Ignition group, Container Conversions and Lee’s Supascapes for making this very special project possible,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s marketing and fund-raising officer, Brigitte Ferguson.

Brigitte thanked the volunteers who helped tirelessly to revamp, tidy, sort and reopen the new container shops. These container stores house a variety of good quality second hand goods, from toys and CDs to children’s toys and horse riding equipment.

The sleek new look will also be extended to its existing stores as they will also receive revamps.

The shopping courtyard is now open for business and the stores in the Village Green are open from Monday to Saturday from 8am to noon and the last Sunday of the month from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

“Without your support we cannot continue making a difference in animals lives every day,” said Brigitte.

Highway residents can drop off their unwanted secondhand goods at the Kloof and Highway SPCA or the items can be collected.  Contact 031 764 1212.
