Fill your life with kaleidoscope of colour

The colouring book is aimed at both children and adults. By purchasing a copy you will also help to raise funds for Woza Moya.

YOU can either want to find your space of zen after a hard day’s work or are simply wanting to waste away an afternoon, whichever option you choose, there’s simply nothing more calming than adult colouring-in. Woza Moya has now got you covered in this department.

The local non-profit organisation has launched its first colouring book, Dreams for Africa that offers 20 pages filled with gloriously detailed design work from Kloof Senior Primary School teacher, Kerry Halse.

Woza Moya’s manager, Paula Thomson, said her children attend the local school and she came across Kerry’s work in the school’s Rhintopia colouring-in book, launched to raise funds for Project Rhino.

“I saw her work and absolutely had to have her do images for Woza Moya. We had been wanting to do one for ages and this was just perfect,” said Paula.

The book contains images that celebrate Woza Moya and include its broad product range from its crafts to BunnyKats and Little Travelers to the beaded Comrades Marathon shoes.

This particular image was blown up and pasted on the wall outside the Hillcrest branch of the organisation. Patrons, staff and supporters were encouraged to colour it in in a show of support for the many runners backing the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust during the recent Comrades Marathon.

Calvin Cozens of The Print Room sponsored the enlarged Comrades Marathon shoe print as well as 100 copies of the book.

“We have been doing work and have been partnered with Woza Moya for a while and this was a chance for us to give back to them,” smiled Calvin.
