Welcome the whales at the Bluff

THE Welcoming of the Whales Festival is on 30 June at Brighton Beach, Bluff.

A treasure hunt has been planned to keep kids enthralled.

WESSA.org will give educational talks about the contents of rock pools and marine life and there will be a scheduled hike through the restricted military area to the former old whaling station which was commissioned in 1908.

Enjoy a day at the beach whale spotting.
