Nokxolo can do it all

Kloof Senior Primary School's SPAR Star of the Month - May 2018.

NOKXOLO Ndwandwe, a Grade 7 learner at Kloof Senior Primary School, is the SPAR Star of the Month.

Since she joined the school, Nokxolo has taken part in as many cultural and sporting programmes the school has to offer and believes this has allowed her to grow as a person as well as develop her talents.

“I have a passion to play netball and would like to take it further someday. In grade 4 I took an interest in the computer club and choir, participated in netball and achieved PADSA outdoor netball,” she said.

A year later she continued as a member of the choir and netball and decided to explore other sports, including soccer and hockey and was in the WARD for shot put.

In Grade 6 she became more involved with the sports on offer, and was a member of the 1st soccer, hockey and touch rugby teams.

“I achieved KZN Midlands indoor netball and KZN outdoor netball. I was in 2nd team softball and in the WARD team for javelin, long distance running and sprints. I participated in cross-country, choir and Seussical, last year’s school play,” said a proud Nokxolo.

So far this year she was made the Hendry House Captain, the netball captain, become a member of the KZN Midlands indoor netball team, PADSA outdoor netball team, PADSA hockey team and the 1st team soccer and netball teams.

“I participated in cross country and eco-club. I would like to thank all the coaches, teachers, friends and family that encourage me to be my best,” she said.
