WESTVILLE police are again appealing to the public to be more vigilant when it comes to buying goods online.

Captain Elizabeth Squires, communications officer at Westville SAPS, said it is one of their biggest statistics when it comes to fraud cases.

“The biggest online scams involve vehicles and animals. Don’t buy on classified sites without having seen the item, please don’t be another statistic,” said Squires.
