Indulge your taste buds at St Mary’s Old Girls’ fund-raiser

Funds raised on the night will be shared among the St Mary's Foundation and the Inanda Soup Kitchen.

EXPERIENCE an evening of all things scrumptious at the Guild of St Mary’s Old Girls’ fund-raiser, the Tasting Extravaganza on 26 May at Bellevue CafĂ©.

It is set to be a fabulously fun evening open to all at a cost of R380 per ticket which includes an array of sensory delights, a welcome drink and entertainment. There will be specialist bars available – artisanal gin, sparkling wines and craft beer as well as great music and festive company (cash bar).

Stunning auction items will be on offer during the evening, as well as a chance to win an Apple iPhone 8 or JBL Flip4 Bluetooth Speaker in two raffle draw prizes.

Funds raised from the evening will go to The St Mary’s Foundation Trust and the Inanda Soup Kitchen, a non-profit organisation. The foundation trust’s purpose is to change the lives of girls still to come and to continue the school legacy into the future.

The Inanda Soup Kitchen was founded in 2015 by St Mary’s Old Girl, Robyn O’Donovan.

The kitchen is based next to a church near Inanda Dam and runs every Wednesday at lunch time and feeds up to 180 children after school.

Robyn, together with her friend, Hlengiwe, hope to extend the programme to include supporting and furthering the education of some of the bright stars they’ve identified from their work.

St Mary’s DSG, Kloof thanked its sponsors for the evening, Setzkorn Health and Wealth Consulting and Bioharmony.

Bookings are on a first come first serve basis.
