Rabies clinic returns to Upper Highway area for one more day

For those who missed the State Vet's free anti-rabies clinic last week, they will be out at three venues tomorrow doing anti-rabies vaccinations for your pets.

DUE to the huge rabies vaccinations turnout of more than 5500 during the State Vet’s anti-rabies clinic in the Highway area last week, they have decided to hold three more mini clinics for one day only in the Upper Highway area.

The follow-up mini clinic takes place tomorrow, Thursday, 19 April for those cats and dogs that missed out on the free vaccinations last week.

The State Vet will visit Hillcrest Primary School parking lot opposite remedial from 8.30am to 9.30am, Waterfall open park at Howick Road from 10am to 11am and then finally at Kloof Town Hall from noon to 1pm.

Harold Roberts, an official at the State Vet said all cats and dogs can be brought in for free rabies vaccinations.

“We thank you for your time and effort in this very serious rabies outbreak,” said Roberts.
