Free intro to first aid at Kearsney College

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is the only trauma disaster intervention recognised by WHO, ISTSS, Red Cross and NCTSN.

THE Botha’s Hill Crime Stop Neighbourhood Watch invites Highway residents to take part in its free intro to psychological first aid (PFA) on Saturday, 28 April from 9.30am at The Greyhound at Kearsney College.

The objective of PFA is to provide community members the personal and inter-personal skills to stimulate natural human recovery after traumatic events.

These include witnessing death or injury, physical assault, combat, sexual assault, accidents, natural disasters and child sexual abuse.

The programme includes registration, a presentation as well as a questions and answers session.

RSVP to Brian Rogers on 083 281 7245 before Wednesday, 25 April.
