Christ’s journey with the cross remembered

Christians will meditate on the events leading up to the resurrection by observing the Way of the Cross.

DURBAN Catholic Players’ Guild will present the Way of the Cross at Mariannhill Monastery on Palm Sunday, 25 March at 3pm.

This production enacts the events from the time Jesus was condemned by Pilate until he died and was buried.

As preparation for the Easter celebrations, Christians traditionally meditate on the events leading up to the Resurrection by remembering the Way of the Cross (also called The Stations of the Cross).

Actors will perform scenes and the choir from Pinetown Catholic Church will lead the singing.

Entrance is free. Go to the Monastery Church behind the tea garden. All are welcome to join in this presentation of Christ’s journey with the cross.
