Fill a mug with mallows for Robin Hood
You can drop off your donated mugs and Easter eggs at Placelol at the Hillcrest Corner before 31 March.
AFTER the success of The Robin Hood Foundation’s Mugs and Mallows drive in 2016 which, thanks to incredible community support, saw nearly 10 000 Easter eggs in more than 2 000 mugs, the NPO appeals to the Highway community to help spread some Easter joy with its 2018 campaign.
To get involved, all you need to do is donate mugs and mallows before Saturday, 31 March.
Kim Griffith Jones, the coordinator of the Foundation, said, “So many of the elderly and children we visit in the various homes, crèches and schools either have to share a few mugs or drink out of chipped broken mugs. If you’d like to get involved and donate your pre-loved mugs that are in great condition or buy new ceramic or plastic mugs, fill them with three or four marshmallows, and help us spread some Easter joy in April.”
