“One of the men smashed the woman’s car window, while the other three suspects forced open the pedestrian gate of the property and the door to the house.

“The woman was injured during a scuffle with one of the suspects who robbed her of cellphones, cash, keys and a GPS,” said Mathios.

The other three suspects entered the house and assaulted the woman’s husband and their teenage son.

“They ransacked the house, stealing two flat screen televisions and jewellery. They fled in a gold Hyundai Tuscon ND 17059,” said Mathios.

ER24 paramedics attended the scene and transported the woman together with her husband, who was suffering from high blood pressure, to a local hospital for treatment. Bellair SAPS also attended the scene of the crime.
