Help collect water for Cape Town

Rescue Care Paramedics  Recovery 911 Towing dropped off approximately 5500 litres of water to be sent to Cape Town.

WITH Cape Town experiencing a severe water shortage, many people and companies have come on board to assist residents during this crisis by collecting and sending water.

On Monday morning, Rescue Care Paramedics together with Recovery 911 Towing answered a call for assistance on Facebook from Mandy Catterson Wilson with regards to getting water she had collected to a trucking company in Pinetown.

“Together with one ambulance and two response cars from Rescue Care and five breakdowns from Recovery 911, we dropped off approximately 5500 litres of water to be sent to Cape Town. This is to assist with the severe water shortage they are experiencing,” said Rescue Care Paramedics operations director, Garrith Jamieson.

Jamieson thanked Mandy for taking the initiative and opening her house as a drop off point.
